It will help to brighten up your complexion quickly. The process of exfoliation is a simple method of removing dead cells which are on the surface of your skin. It will reveal the plumper and younger cells underneath.
It also encourages your skin to quicken cell production. This means that the cells that reach the surface are younger and better looking. For dry or normal skin, exfoliate once a week. For oily or combination skin, exfoliate 1 - 2 times a week.
Face scrubs are the face pack which rubs or scrubs the skin. By scrubbing the skin they bring the blood to surface of skin, remove dead cell and clean dead skin. It is good for spotty and sluggish looking skin. Face scrub should be spreaded over the face with fingertips. When it gets dry, remove it by scrubbing, then wash it off with lukewarm water.
The purpose of a scrub is to clean and to remove the dead cells on your skin. This is done by putting the scrub on your clean fingertips and gently massaging your face. When you have done this for a minute or so, rinse with warm water use the scrub in the shower then your pores are open from the steam, and as a result your skin is as clean as possible.
There are commercial scrubs available, many with chopped nuts in them. You can also make your own scrubs by using a one-quarter cup of oatmeal mixed with a little water or yogurt. When done, use the astringent and moisturizer, just as you do after a masque.
Take your fingertips and gently squeeze the blackhead-first from two directions, then from the other two directions. Don't squeeze hard or you'll end up with broken capillaries. If you can't get the blackhead out, leave it alone.
Now use your cleanser.
Use either a masque or put warm oil on your face, for added moisturizing.
Splash on some cold water to close your facial pores.
End with a light moisturizer on your face, and your eye cream around your eyes.
That's it. Your home facial should take about thirty minutes. Set aside this private time to take special care of your skin. Do it whe you are home alone, when you aren't in a hurry. Turn on some soothing music; don't answer the phone. Enjoy your moments alone -and heal your skin at the same time.
If you have the time and inclination to give yourself a facial once a week-that's great. For others, once a month is much better than a poke in the eye, as they say.
